Our house was built in 1978 and the kitchen and family room were dated and the flow did not work for the way we live today. Sterling Homes transformed our home into an open plan that is perfect for our young family, as well as for entertaining with many guests. We feel like we are living in a new home!

Home Renovation Project
Sterling Homes customized a gorgeous bathroom for us. The project stayed on budget and was nearly pain-free. We had to work within the existing parameters of the room, and Russ and his team did an excellent job helping us maximize the space while clearly explaining the constraints. In particular, Russ communicated almost daily to ensure that we knew what was going on every step of the way. That way, when there were hiccups in the schedule, they were not surprises. We couldn't be happier with the results! And we're already planning our next projects around the house.
Bath Remodeling Project
We hired Sterling Homes for a complete, top-to-bottom renovation of a 1930s colonial. The project spanned several months, and Russ was with us from the very first zoning board meeting to the prompt completion of the final punch list item. After all that time, we can distill our experience working with Russ Busa and Sterling Homes down to two words: Russ cares. Russ cares about respecting the budget he has provided. He cares about sticking to the schedule he has established. And, above all, Russ cares about the quality of the product Sterling Homes is delivering for his customers.
The Sterling Homes team is a well oiled machine. Russ’s enthusiasm and professionalism is consistently mirrored by his sub-contractors. Everyone was courteous, prompt, and accommodating. Whenever there was a need for a change order or an added request, Russ and his partners were on top of it right away. Russell did an excellent job of keeping us up to date on all that was happening. He also gave us detailed information and ample time to make any decisions about available options and/or possible changes.
We love our new home. Inside and out, it is gorgeous... from the high ceilings in the basement to the built-in dressers in the attic. The open floor plan for the first floor is fantastic. Our granite island is the heart of the new home and we love being together in the space. And our master bath should be in magazines! Every part of it is what we wanted. I will recommend SH wholeheartedly. Russ is a true professional. He was on time, on budget, and he delivered what he promised. Russ seemed to really enjoy the process as much as we did. He was fun to work with and we feel like we made a new friend in the process.

From the first time we met Russ, we were impressed by his genuine interest in our home buying objectives and frustrations. Russ proved early on that he was the right person for our job. My experience was great. I appreciated the weekly communication as well as the quality of the work and subcontractors. For the most part, I felt like I knew what was going on each week and in the times where I didn’t, Russell would respond back to any of my questions in a timely and very professional manner.
